This eight station horizontal axis transfer machine with 12 machining units processes valve bodies, valve covers, elbows, tee’s, and several other parts from brass castings. Boring, O.D. turning, recessing, single point threading, single point facing, and broaching operations are performed. This machine is equipped with a bulk type hopper conveyor with vibratory part chute and orienting device combined with (not pictured) a pneumatically operated pick and place load / unload device. The machine includes Fanuc CNC control, motors and drives.
