Product Details Company Profile
DUNKES has more than 50 years of experience building universal wobble riveting machines, and for press riveting know-how.
The foundation consists of a series of wobble riveting machines as bench-top machines with various riveting forces , and of riveting units for use in automation projects with remote release.
The benefits of the wobble riveting process are that it provides short riveting cycle times, a clearly defined flow direction and clearly defined motions. The required riveting tools can have a simple design, which results in low tool costs. Wobble riveting technology is used to fabricate high quality rivet joints in fixed and mobile configurations. A force-distance control facility can be used for quality assurance purposes.
When automatic processes are involved, the rivet height tolerance can also be detected before the riveting process. A bar chart or the force- distance function can be recorded for record-keeping purposes.
DUNKES C&C rivet machines are used when a large number of small riveting clearances are required. Loading and unloading is not time controlled.
The required riveting forces, times, and reproducible distance cutoff locations are programmed with an NC control. Data is stored using a diskette drive. The advantage of this solution compared to multi-spindle heads is that no capital-intensive individual riveting tools need to be procured.
